The HI Way

When Covid happened and the theatres closed, the team at Honolulu Theatre for Youth (HTY) began to make a children’s TV show called The HI Way which ran for 4 seasons and 29 episodes. In 2020 The HI Way was nominated for 6 Emmy awards and won 3 Emmys!! In 2021 The HI Way was nominated for a further 2 Emmy awards! Annie was one of the writers and directors on the show creating stories, mini documentaries and beloved characters like Hippie Dog.
